CHS is a not-for-profit organization that meets the needs of children, individuals and families in our community and around the world through their vital programs and services. FUNKSHION 2008: Fashion Week Miami Beach	FUNKSHION: Fashion Week Miami Beach celebrates its 10th season with one of the most impressive line-ups in recent years. The state of the art fashion pod will be built on the sand at 11th Street and Ocean Drive in Lummus Park in Miami Beach. Funkshion Fashion Week Miami Beach will open on March 26th and Cosmix graduates will be living the dream as they participate in makeup services backstage. Valentine's Day for Safespace residents	10 Cosmix students showed the true meaning of Valentine's Day by giving makeovers to Safespace residents as a belated Valentine's gift. Safespace Shelter was established in 1977 due to the lack of adequate services for female victims of violent crimes. Habitat for Humanity of Broward	Habitat for Humanity of Broward, the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the elimination of poverty housing from our community. Since its inception in 1983, Habitat Broward has successfully built over 200 homes which have significantly impacted the lives of over 1,100 children and adults as well as provided safe, decent shelter to families in need throughout Broward County. Lighthouse in Cooper City	Cosmix students dedicate a Saturday afternoon doing makeovers and giving beauty advice to the teenage residents of Lighthouse in Cooper City , FL.
