Who Are We?

Makeup Schools vary in their focus. Retail companies and cosmetology schools offer basic makeup training that qualifies an individual to work at a retail counter in a department store or salon. In-depth technical training is necessary if you want to pursue a career as a Multi-Media Makeup Artist and work in the Entertainment, Fashion and Beauty industries. We are a technical institution offering programs for serious makeup artists. Our graduates work in such diverse areas as working with musicians on videos; collaborating with photographers and models for magazines or runway shows; freelancing special events such as weddings; and working with actors and celebrities for film, television or the stage.

Airbrushing is one of our specialties, a skill not widely taught at other makeup schools. At Cosmix you will master this important skill under the guidance of a very seasoned airbrushing artist. Film & Television makeup artists have been airbrushing for over a decade. It is the preferred technique for both digital and high definition television.
