Who Are We?

We are a technical institution licensed by the Florida Department of Education offering training in makeup techniques for every media as well as a special effects makeup school. Our graduates work in such diverse areas as working with musicians on videos; collaborating with photographers and models for magazines or runway shows; freelancing special events such as weddings; working for a trendy retail company like MAC or Sephora, and working with actors and celebrities for film, television or the stage.

The faculty and staff at our school of makeup artistry are extraordinary. At many schools you study with only one teacher. At Cosmix we want you to experience the various styles and techniques of many award-winning working artists who are dedicated to excellence in their craft. You will have many teachers if you go through the Production Program. Makeup artistry is an artform. If you were a painter, would you want to only study Van Gogh's technique? No you would want to experience all the great masters.

Airbrushing is one of our specialties, a skill not widely taught in the makeup classes at other schools.
